I had previously paid someone to swap the neck and bridge pickups of the Schecter Avenger Custom (Shecter Pasadena Plus set). That didn't have the result I had expected, so I didn't want to pay to have them swapped back so I did it myself. I bought a 45 watt soldering iron.
I did a barely passable job soldering, but it worked. And the guitar went back to sounding great.
