I ordered a Squier Jaguar from Portland and didn't consider that it was coming from Portland, Maine. I thought it was going to come during the week so I was anticipating getting to try it out, but it turns out it will arrive here when we are on vacation. So not only am I not going to play it this week but I am going to have to arrange for someone to put it in our garage while we are gone so it will not sit out on the front porch for five days while we are gone.
I am looking forward to seeing if the sunburst looks any good. There are a lot of cool colors for this guitar so this doesn't seem like the creative choice, but I've seen some pretty impressive pics of sunburst online.
I also wonder if I'll like the tone and the bridge. The bridge is a pure, old-school Jaguar bridge. The tone I've heard online is great if you use it with the proper amp and reverb settings. I had one once and sent it back. I think I may have more accurate expectations now. I'm also anticipating several other things:

- That the weight will be OK
- I'll be able to set the action as I like it
- That the tremolo will affect the pitch enough to make it worth having
- That the tremolo will stay in tune enough to make it worth having
- People have raved about the neck - will it be as good as the Squier Jazzmaster neck? That neck has a great feel to it, good fretwork and it is the guitar that I can get nice low action from.
